Alan Ouellette

I have always loved capturing moments in time with my camera. It began in high school taking photos for the yearbook and has evolved over the years into taking photos at different sporting events, fireworks displays, and of the natural beauty I find in my travels.

The transition to professional photography started innocently enough with a calendar of cows for our daughter. Trapp Family Lodge’s herd of Scottish Highlanders is not far from us so I spent a year having coffee (or cocktails) with the cows taking photos for a calendar for her.

This quickly escalated into spending days sitting in snow banks waiting for a snowy owl to wake up and taking photo safaris around Vermont. I love to capture the character, energy, and beauty of our natural surroundings. I hope you enjoy my photographs.
